Das 62x62cm LED Panel von LG hat einen etwas anderen Designeinsatz als die sehr flachen Standard LED-Panele. Durch die etwas höhere Bauform von 6,4cm und die Anordnung der LEDs in einer geschwungenen Wellenform wird dies bei einem Ausfall von einzelnen LEDs über die Lebensdauer nicht sofort sichtbar. Bei superflachen EDGE-Lit Modelle dagegen macht sich der Ausfall von enzelnen LEDs schneller im Gesamtbild bemerktbar.
Das LG LED Panel bietet einen vorbereiteten Steckplatz für erweiterte Kommunikationsmodule. Diese sind schnell konfiguriert und installiert. Optional erhältlich sind Module für eine DALI Lichtsteuerung sowie eine ZigBee Modul.
Bei nur 33W Stromverbrauch kann das LED-Panel eine 4x18W T8 Deckenkasette ersetzen und spart dabei mindestens 55% Strom. Die leichte Bauweise dieses Panels ermöglicht eine sehr einfache Installation.
Durch die erhöhte Bauform ist bei der Montage auf etwas zusätzlichen Platz zu achten. Zwischen der Rastderdecke und der Raumdecke sollten mind. 10cm Raum vorhanden sein.
