Dimmable LED Downlights with CRI 98 – Premium Light for Demanding Projects

Good light makes a room bright. Premium light makes it visibly better. Our range of dimmable LED downlights is built for projects where natural colour rendering, a clean look and durable technology matter just as much as brightness. Homes, hotels, restaurants, clinics or offices – wherever light is part of the interior, the difference shows.

CRI 98 – when light makes the difference

CRI stands for Colour Rendering Index and describes how accurately a light source reproduces colours. Values from 90 upwards count as very good – our range is spectrometrically tested at CRI 98, with an additional R9 value of at least 93. R9 specifically measures deep reds, which often get lost with an ordinary CRI rating. In practice, that means wood, fabrics and skin tones look the way they actually are, rather than slightly washed out as under basic standard LEDs. In showrooms, hair salons or retail spaces especially, that can decide whether a product invites someone to buy it.

Four colour temperatures for every mood

Colour temperature helps set the atmosphere of a room. That's why the range comes in four variants:

2700K · warm white

For cosy living spaces, bedrooms and hotel rooms.

3000K · warm and clear

Versatile for receptions, hospitality and retail spaces.

4000K · cool white

For offices, kitchens and showroom areas.

Dim2Warm

Gets progressively warmer as you dim it, like a classic incandescent bulb.

On most models, the beam angle can also be adjusted using plug-in interchangeable lenses – 15° for a tight accent, 36° as standard, or 60° for a wide, even spread of light. Depending on the lens fitted, the same base fixture becomes either a narrow accent spot or a broad wash light.

Trimless on the outside, built to last on the inside

Selected models, such as the trimless version or its DALI-controlled counterpart, recess the light source so deep into the housing that only a narrow, dark ring is visible at ceiling level – no glaring light source, no glare (UGR below 19). Behind that sits technology you don't see but do notice: 50,000 hours of service life, a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, and flicker-free operation that doesn't tire the eyes over a long working day. The build is modular too: the frame, LED module and driver can each be replaced individually instead of throwing away the whole fitting. Anyone who's had to get the ladder out to replace a cheap downlight after a year knows exactly what a solid warranty is really worth.

The right control, the right protection rating

Depending on the model, the range can be dimmed the classic way via TRIAC phase-cut dimming, or controlled professionally via DALI or DALI-2 – useful if the lighting is later going to be integrated into a building management system. For areas that need more light output, there's also a brighter 13W DALI variant at around 1,100 lumens. On protection rating, you can choose between IP20 for dry indoor spaces such as offices or retail areas, and IP65 for bathrooms, spa areas or covered outdoor spaces. Bezels come round or square, in white, black or brushed stainless steel, with either a fixed colour temperature or as a Dim2Warm version.

The range suits homes, hotels, hospitality venues, clinics, offices and retail spaces – wherever light is part of the interior. Which model makes sense in any given case depends on the ceiling build-up, cut-out size and the look you're after. The full category with all variants is available in the shop. If you have questions about the right colour temperature, dimming or finish, we're happy to advise – by phone too, no form required.
