2700K Warm White
Classic incandescent bulb. Cosy, golden, relaxing. Ideal for living rooms, hotel suites, restaurants.
Dim2Warm
Starts like a 2700K incandescent bulb, becomes candlelight (2000K) when dimmed. The most natural dimming curve – no extras required.
3000K – for comparison
Halogen light. Warmer than office light, cooler than incandescent. Versatile for kitchens, retail, hotel corridors.
Dim2Warm Explained
Dim2Warm – natural dimming just like an incandescent bulb
A classic incandescent bulb behaves this way when dimmed: the dimmer the light, the warmer the colour. The filament glows yellowish-white at full load, orange-warm at 20% brightness. This natural behaviour was missing from LED spotlights for a long time – until the Dim2Warm module. It physically links colour temperature and brightness: when you dim a standard trailing edge dimmer, the light automatically becomes warmer.
Dim2Warm in practice: In a restaurant in the evening – light at 25% → colour shifts to 2200K. Candlelit, intimate, appetising. No programming, no DALI, no Tunable White system required.

CRI 98 – colour fidelity even in warm light, spectrometrically verified
Achieving CRI 98 at 2700K is significantly more challenging than at 3000K or 4000K. The warm range strongly emphasises red tones – with poor LEDs an unnatural yellow cast results. The Titan-Spot 2700K module still achieves Ra = 98, R9 = 93 (saturated red) – verified with a spectrometer. Colours remain natural, skin tones glow warmly without appearing brown.
For hair salons: hair colouring at 2700K – the evening look is spot on. For fine dining: food appears appetising, warm, not pale. For hotels: skin tones natural and warm – no yellow cast.

What is the difference between 2700K and 3000K?
2700K = classic incandescent – warm, golden, cosy. 3000K = halogen – warm white, but slightly cooler and more neutral. For ambience, hotels and restaurants, 2700K is the warmer, cosier choice. For kitchens or retail, 3000K is often more suitable.
What is Dim2Warm and how does it work?
Dim2Warm links brightness and colour temperature: the more you dim, the warmer the light – from 2700K (full brightness) to 2000K (candlelight at the lowest setting). This happens automatically with any standard trailing edge dimmer – no specialist system, no bus, no extra wiring.
Dim2Warm or Tunable White – what is the difference?
Dim2Warm: colour temperature and brightness are linked – dimming = warmer. No extra system required. Tunable White: colour temperature and brightness are independently controllable (e.g. 4000K at 20% brightness). Requires DALI or 1-10V. Dim2Warm is simpler and more natural; Tunable White is more flexible for offices and healthcare.
Does the spotlight maintain CRI 98 in the warm 2000K Dim2Warm range?
Yes. The spectrometer measurement at 2786K yields Ra = 98, R9 = 93. Even in the candlelight range (2000K), colour rendering remains excellent – no yellow cast, no incorrect skin tones.
