With a low glare of UGR<19, the LED recessed spotlight black is ideal for use in offices, at computer workstations, in shops, foyers, reception desks and in care. The low glare provides a bright but unobtrusive light. Also very pleasant in hotels / foyers or reception halls. Also very nice in shops for unobtrusive ambient lighting. The improved reflectors provide a very nice light distribution and a high-quality design.
The legal requirements for use at VDU workstations according to EN 12464-1 are fulfilled. You can download a light calculation file in the Miscellaneous section.
The second generation of this much-sold recessed LED luminaire in black with reflector features not only low glare but also improved colour rendering and a significantly increased efficiency of around 100 lumens per watt. In addition, with the new DALI-capable power supply units, we can offer a further integration option in the lighting control system.
Premium LED recessed luminaires of this quality and performance class normally cost considerably more. The simple black design in combination with the black reflector make it a very popular LED downlight, especially for larger projects.
Besides the standard version with flicker-free on-off power supply, we can offer further dimming options. We can offer this black 190mm LED recessed luminaire with the following dimming options:
The luminaire is equipped with latest DALI 2 power supply which supports the improved DALI2 standard. Absolutely flicker-free over the entire dimming range as well as the and push dimming.
The power supply unit is ENEC and TÜV/GS certified and thus guarantees a high level of electrical safety. The LED driver can be reset to a slightly lower brightness by means of DIP switches if the basic setting is too bright and no complex dimming is required. The Black LED recessed spotlight for computer workstations is often integrated into large building or home automation systems via DALI or KNX. This allows models to be controlled, switched and dimmed individually. The advantage of DALI dimming is that the light remains flicker-free and does not flicker. Lower dimming levels can also be achieved than with phase dimming.
The DALI 2 dimming protocol enables improved compatibility of DALI luminaires from different manufacturers with each other in a common DALI dimming network. The power supply unit is flicker-free and supports push dimming in addition to DALI dimming. Push dimming also runs via a dimming line and is ideal where it is not worth setting up a DALI network because of the small number of luminaires.
Analogue 1-10V dimming requires a thin control line and a suitable 1-10Volt wall dimmer. Dimming is very clean and even without flickering or flickering in the light. The minimum dimming is about 10%. In existing buildings, however, there is usually no 5-wire cable for a dimming line! This often makes implementation in existing buildings difficult. The power supply unit can be reset to a slightly lower brightness with DIP switches if the basic setting is too bright and no complex dimming is to be implemented. 2.
This type of dimming is very similar to the classic dimming of incandescent lamps via the power line. We offer suitable power supply units for this, which show a very good dimming curve, without jumps in the dimming and have a low noise level. A prerequisite, however, is an LED-capable wall dimmer that can dim LED luminaires. In this way, flickering or jumps in the dimming curve can be avoided. This type of dimming with LEDs usually allows a minimum dimming of 10 to 15% of the total brightness. However, the number of luminaires that can be operated simultaneously on one dimmer is usually limited to about 5-6 luminaires.
Dimming is done with a rotary or touch dimmer. When using a home automation system and dimming actuators, a dimming test is recommended in advance.
This modern LED recessed spotlight in black easily replaces two 50Watt classic halogen luminaires and significantly exceeds the brightness by approx. 20%.
