This new very noble series of LED surface mounted ceiling lights with silver reflector is available in different dimmable versions. In addition to the different dimmable power supplies of the series, you can choose from different interchangeable reflectors. For example in matt silver, black or gold. comes with a very narrow white outer rim and a high-gloss reflector in silver.The LED ceiling luminaire DALI dimmable uses high-quality SAMSUNG® LED chips and has an outer diameter of 6"-inch 154mm and a mounting height of 165mm. .
Adjustable light colour (Kelvin selector 3000K - 4000K- 5700K)
By means of a selector switch on the top of the surface-mounted luminaire, the LED surface-mounted ceiling spotlight can be operated in 3000 Kelvin warm white | 4000 Kelvin neutral white or cool 5700 Kelvin daylight white. This means that different areas in a building can be illuminated very quickly in different ways, depending on the lighting requirements.

The high-quality SAMSUNG® LEDs and very good colour rendering make this LED ceiling light with silver reflector a top LED ceiling light. Good LED chips maintain the luminous flux and the light colour for a long time and permanently. 154mm LED ceiling light DALI dimmable: different dimming modes selectable.
This 6 inch / 154mm LED ceiling surface mounted luminaire can be offered for different dimming modes. From phase cut-off dimming (dimming via the power line for a small number of luminaires to be dimmed) or via DALI dimming in the digital DALI bus via a dimming line).
1. dimming via DALI bus
The DALI power supply unit complies with the latest DALI 2 standard. This enables a high degree of compatibility with many existing DALI bus systems. The power supply unit is ENEC and TÜV/GS certified and thus guarantees a high level of electrical safety. The LED driver can be reset to a slightly lower brightness by means of DIP switches if the basic setting is too bright and no complex dimming is required. This Black recessed LED luminaire for VDU workstations is often integrated into large building or home automation systems via DALI or KNX. This allows models to be controlled, switched and dimmed individually.
The advantage of DALI dimming is that the light remains flicker-free and does not flicker. Lower dimming levels can also be achieved than with phase dimming.
The DALI 2 dimming protocol enables improved compatibility of DALI luminaires from different manufacturers with each other in a common DALI dimming network. The power supply unit is flicker-free and supports push dimming in addition to DALI dimming. Push dimming also runs via a dimming line and is ideal where it is not worth setting up a DALI network with a gateway due to the small number of luminaires.
Depending on the power supply unit selected, the luminaire can also be used as an emergency light for emergency lighting operation on a central battery; EL quality mark, for emergency lighting with central/group batteries in accordance with IEC 61347-2-13.
2. dimming via phase-angle dimming / phase-angle dimming.
This type of dimming is very similar to the classic dimming of incandescent lamps via the power line. We offer suitable power supply units for this, which have a very good dimming curve, no jumps in the dimming and low noise development. A prerequisite, however, is an LED-capable wall dimmer that can dim LED luminaires. In this way, flickering or jumps in the dimming curve can be avoided. This type of dimming for LEDs usually allows a minimum dimming of 10 to 15% of the total brightness. However, the number of luminaires that can be operated simultaneously on one dimmer is usually limited to about 5-6 luminaires.
Dimming is done with a rotary or touch dimmer. When using a home automation system and dimming actuators, a dimming test is recommended beforehand.
1-10Volt dimming via dimming line
Analogue 1-10V dimming requires a thin control cable and a suitable 1-10Volt wall dimmer. Dimming is very clean and even without flickering and flickering in the light. The minimum dimming level is approx. 10%. In existing buildings, however, there is usually no 5-core cable for a dimming line! This often makes implementation in existing buildings difficult. The power supply unit can be reset to a slightly lower brightness with DIP switches if the basic setting is too bright and no complex dimming is to be realised.
