Unlike Tunable White, this requires no complex four-wire installation or DALI programming.

In wet rooms and bathrooms, the selection of the correct IP protection rating is precisely governed by regulation to guarantee maximum protection against moisture and electrical hazards. Our round LED recessed spotlight IP65 covers the most demanding ceiling installation areas.
Zone 0 · Interior of Bath / Shower
Directly inside the bathtub or shower tray. Requires at minimum **IPX7** (protection against temporary immersion) and operation at safety extra-low voltage (SELV).
Zone 1 · Above the Shower / Bath
The ceiling and wall surfaces directly above the bathtub or shower (up to 2.25 m height). A minimum of IPX4 is required here – **our IP65 spotlights significantly exceed this and offer maximum protection against jet water**.
Zone 2 · 60cm Perimeter & Washbasin
The area up to 60 cm adjacent to Zone 1 and in the direct vicinity of the washbasin. A minimum of **IP44** (protection against splash water) is required by regulation.

FAQs on the IP65 Series & Dim2Warm
Why is this IP65 recessed spotlight fixed and not tiltable?
In order to permanently meet the strict requirements of protection class IP65 (protection against jet water), the housing must be sealed absolutely airtight and watertight. A tilt mechanism would require mechanical clearances and moving seals, which would represent a safety risk under permanent water vapour or jet water exposure.
Why is a high CRI 98 value so important in the bathroom?
Lighting quality is particularly decisive in the cosmetic area in front of the mirror or in wellness retreats. Skin tones often appear greyish and unhealthy under CRI 80. CRI 98 reproduces the light spectrum with extreme fidelity to nature, making tiles, materials, and faces appear authentic and vibrant.
Can I swap the module for 3000K or 4000K at a later stage?
Yes. Our system is modular. The frame and driver remain in the ceiling. Only the LED module is exchanged. Switching between 2700K, Dim2Warm, 3000K, and 4000K is possible at any time – without any conversion work or new holes.
Do I need a special smart home system for Dim2Warm?
No. The Dim2Warm module couples colour temperature and brightness purely through the LED driver physics. You simply need a standard phase-cut dimmer (e.g. a rotary wall dimmer). As soon as you dim down, the light automatically becomes warmer (down to 2000K).
How large is the external driver and will it fit through the ceiling cut-out?
The included driver has been designed to be compact. It fits easily through the ceiling cut-out (∅ 70–82 mm) during installation and can be neatly positioned to one side within the ceiling void.
