Powerful new range of surface mounted LED luminaire with 255mm outer diameter with silver reflector. This large surface mounted luminaire is available in a range of dimmable options. In addition to the dimmable power supplies of the series, you can choose from different interchangeable reflectors. For example in matt silver, black or gold. The bright 40W dimmable surface-mounted luminaire uses high-quality SAMSUNG® LED chips and has an outer diameter of 255 mm and a mounting height of 176mm.
A selector switch on the top of the surface-mounted luminaire allows the light colour to be operated in 3000 Kelvin warm white | 4000 Kelvin neutral white or cool 5700 Kelvin daylight white. In this way, different areas in a building can be illuminated very quickly depending on the lighting requirements.
With 40 watts of power and high-quality SAMSUNG® LEDs, these dimmable surface-mounted ceiling luminaires generate up to 4000 lumens of luminous flux. This is particularly necessary in buildings with high ceilings to achieve good brightness. In existing buildings, existing large luminaires with 100W or 150W can be quickly replaced with more efficient models. Lower wattages can easily be achieved by dimming or adjusting the power supply units. In this way, you can quickly and easily achieve significant electricity savings compared to existing luminaires.
Optional interchangeable reflectors are available for quick and easy replacement. The standard reflector in silver high gloss is included in the price of the luminaire. As an option, the reflector can also be ordered in black, gold or matt silver.

The DALI power supply is according to the latest DALI 2 standard. This enables high compatibility with many existing DALI bus systems. The power supply unit is ENEC and TÜV/GS certified and thus guarantees a high level of electrical safety. The LED driver can be reset to a slightly lower brightness by means of DIP switches if the basic setting is too bright and no complex dimming is required. The DALI dimm surface-mounted ceiling luminaire is often integrated into large building or home automation systems via DALI or KNX. This allows models to be controlled, switched and dimmed individually.
The advantage of DALI dimming is that the light remains flicker-free and does not flicker. Lower dimming levels can also be achieved than with phase dimming.
This type of dimming is very similar to the classic dimming of incandescent lamps via the power line. We offer suitable power supply units for this, which have a very good dimming curve, no jumps in the dimming and low noise development. A prerequisite, however, is an LED-capable wall dimmer that can dim LED luminaires. In this way, flickering or jumps in the dimming curve can be avoided. This type of dimming for LEDs usually allows a minimum dimming of 10 to 15% of the total brightness. However, the number of luminaires that can be operated simultaneously on one dimmer is usually limited to about 5-6 luminaires.
Dimming is done with a rotary or touch dimmer. When used with a home automation system and dimming actuators, a dimming test is recommended in advance.
Analogue 1-10V dimming requires a thin control cable and a suitable 1-10Volt wall dimmer. Dimming is very clean and even without flickering or flickering in the light. The minimum dimming level is approx. 10%. In existing buildings, however, there is usually no 5-core cable for a dimming line! This often makes implementation in existing buildings difficult. The power supply unit can be reset with DIP switches to a slightly lower brightness if the basic setting is too bright and no complex dimming is to be realised.
