DALI Recessed Spotlight Round Tiltable Dimmable – ∅90mm, IP20, CRI 98, 4 Colour Temperatures
The DALI recessed spotlight, round, tiltable dimmable, combines flexible light aiming with the highest colour rendering and future-proof digital lighting control – ideal for residential and commercial spaces. Choose between 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, or the exclusive Dim2Warm between 2700-2000K.
Tiltable & Adjustable
The bezel adjusts smoothly to any angle – for precise accent lighting exactly where you need it.
CRI 98+ Premium Light
Maximum colour accuracy (Ra=98, R9≥93) means skin tones, products and materials look completely natural.
Future-Proof DALI System
Digital individual addressing, group control and stepless dimming – also backwards-compatible with DALI-1.
Exclusive Dim2Warm
The light automatically warms as it's dimmed – just like a classic incandescent bulb, precisely controllable via a DALI lighting scene.
Flexible Light Aiming Meets Digital Lighting Control
As a DALI recessed spotlight, round, tiltable dimmable, in a ∅90mm format, this model combines a freely adjustable bezel with the flexibility of a professional DALI lighting control system. With no fixed front lens to house, the bezel stays lighter and free to tilt – ideal for precise accent lighting in dry indoor spaces, across all four available colour temperatures.
- Living spaces & bedrooms: The tiltable bezel aims light precisely at artwork, shelving or seating areas. A DALI scene can smoothly bring the mood down to Dim2Warm.
- Offices & reception areas: As an LED spotlight, precisely adjustable towards desks or meeting tables – 4000K delivers focused task light.
- Retail spaces & galleries: Accent lighting for merchandise, exhibits or shop windows – CRI 98 renders colours and materials true to life.
- Commercial lighting control: Individually addressable via DALI-2 – each fitting can be independently programmed, grouped, or built into lighting scenes.
Premium CRI 98 Light Quality for the Highest Standards
Not all light is equal. While standard LEDs (CRI 80) often make spaces look dull or colour-distorted, the high-end module fitted in this spotlight reproduces the full colour spectrum of natural sunlight with a CRI of 98.
Especially critical spectral ranges such as the R9 value (saturated red) come in above 93 here. For living spaces, retail floors and upmarket hospitality, that means: skin tones, textiles and materials are rendered in their absolute, undistorted brilliance – regardless of the dimming level set via DALI.
Four Colour Temperatures – Maximum Flexibility for Your Project
2700K Super Warm White
Cosy, golden and maximally relaxing. The perfect choice for living rooms, hotel rooms, relaxation areas and lounges.
Dim2Warm (2700K → 2000K) Exclusive
The light automatically warms as it's digitally dimmed – all the way down to cosy candlelight. A feature rarely found on the market, precisely controllable via DALI lighting scenes.
3000K Warm White
Clear, brilliant feel-good light. Universally suited to modern living spaces, hallways, reception areas and offices.
4000K Neutral White
Clear, focused and energising. Excellent for workstations, retail spaces and functional indoor areas.
Dim2Warm – Natural Dimming Like an Incandescent Bulb
A classic incandescent bulb behaves like this when dimmed: the weaker the light, the warmer the colour. The filament glows yellowish-white at full load, orange-warm at 20% brightness. LED spotlights lacked this natural behaviour for a long time – until the Dim2Warm module. Via a programmed DALI lighting scene, the light automatically warms as it's dimmed down: from 2700K at full brightness to 2000K, candle-like and intimate – with no separate tunable-white system required.
| Dim2Warm | Tunable White | |
|---|---|---|
| Colour temperature changes | Automatically when dimming | Independent of brightness |
| Control system | DALI lighting scene | DALI / 1-10V / tunable driver |
| Brightness & colour simultaneously | Coupled (dimmer = warmer) | Independently controllable |
| Typical use | Residential, hotel, restaurant | Office, learning spaces, care |
Colour Comparison: CRI 80 Lighting vs. CRI 98 Lighting
Experience the Light QualityCRI 80 vs. CRI 98 — See the Difference
Excellent colour rendering is essential for home accessories, products or artwork. Skin tones look dull under standard LEDs (CRI 80), while CRI 98 delivers a healthy, vivid reflection and brilliant material rendering.
DALI or TRIAC (Phase-Cut) – Which Dimming Suits Your Project?
DALI is the specialised standard for intelligent lighting management, allowing every fitting to be individually controlled, dimmed or grouped into lighting scenes. The classic TRIAC (phase-cut) version of this spotlight, on the other hand, dims via any standard LED dimmer – simple, affordable and with no bus system needed. Because the DALI bus runs as its own 2-core control cable separate from the mains supply, the wiring differs: anyone switching from TRIAC to DALI will need to run a DALI bus cable to the consumer unit or gateway, in addition to the mains cable.
| TRIAC (Phase-Cut) | DALI | |
|---|---|---|
| Control | Standard dimmer switches | Digital individual addressing |
| Wiring | 230V mains cable only | Additional 2-core DALI bus cable |
| Lighting scenes & groups | Not possible in software | Freely programmable |
| KNX integration | Only via extra actuators | Direct via KNX-DALI gateway |
| Typical use | Residential, smaller projects | Hotels, offices, commercial projects |
Our recommendation: if you don't need a bus system and just want conventional dimming, the TRIAC round version is more than sufficient. For professional lighting control, KNX integration, or projects with many fittings, the DALI version offers the finer, flicker-free dimming curve and digital grouping into lighting scenes.
Sustainability Through a Modular System
The bezel, LED module and DALI driver on this spotlight are connected modularly rather than permanently glued or soldered together. In the rare event of a fault, each component can be individually replaced and serviced, without having to replace the entire fitting.
This design gives you long-term flexibility as a customer: if your interior style changes later on, the bezel can easily be swapped for a different colour or bezel design – the housing and ceiling cut-out remain unchanged. You invest once and can adjust the look flexibly over the years, rather than cutting new holes in the ceiling with every refurbishment.

CRI 98 Light Quality – Well Beyond the CRI90 Standard
Many suppliers already advertise CRI90 as a quality feature – an established industry threshold for good colour rendering. The 13W module in the Titan Spots range goes well beyond that: with a spectrometrically verified CRI of 98, the LED module reproduces the full colour spectrum of natural sunlight almost perfectly.
Particularly critical spectral ranges such as the R9 value (saturated red) are well above 90. For hotel lobbies, restaurants and upmarket living spaces, this means skin tones, fabrics, wood tones and food are rendered in their full, true brilliance – regardless of the dimming level set via DALI.

Intelligent Lighting Control with DALI & KNX
DALI is the specialised standard for intelligent lighting management, allowing each luminaire to be individually controlled, dimmed, or grouped into lighting scenes. KNX serves as an overarching building control system that intelligently connects various trades such as lighting, heating and shading. The combination of both systems via a gateway is why this module is especially common in professional KNX-DALI installations – from hotel rooms to conference rooms.
Since the DALI bus runs as its own 2-core control line separate from the mains supply, the wiring differs from the phase-controlled TRIAC version of this module: anyone switching from TRIAC to DALI needs to run an additional DALI bus line to the distribution board or gateway, alongside the mains cable.
Sustainability Through a Modular System
The bezel, LED module and DALI driver in this downlight are connected modularly rather than permanently glued or soldered together. In the rare event of a fault, each component can be individually replaced and serviced without having to replace the entire luminaire.
This design gives you long-term flexibility: if your interior style changes later, the bezel can easily be swapped for a different colour or model from the bezel selector above – the housing, module and ceiling cut-out remain unchanged.
Lighting Expertise Why Titan Spots Are Frequently Installed in KNX-DALI Systems, Hotels & Restaurants
The Titan Spots range was developed for projects where light quality and controllability matter equally. In practice, we see three applications particularly often:
- KNX-DALI building installations: A KNX-DALI gateway allows all modules to be individually addressed and integrated into centrally programmed lighting scenes – the foundation of modern building automation in office and residential properties.
- Hospitality: From the lobby to the guest room, hotel projects demand consistently high colour rendering and flicker-free dimming across many luminaires – exactly what DALI-2 with CRI 98 is designed for. The purpose-built hotel bezels add a particularly discreet, almost invisible ceiling finish.
- Restaurants & fine dining: CRI 98 makes food and drinks look true to life, while DALI lighting scenes shift the room's mood from bright lunch service to dimmed evening dining – with no rewiring, at the touch of a button.
